Which Pays better: Bartending or Doing Liquor Promotions?

Shay asked:

I’ve been working in promotional marketing as a brand ambassador/promotional model for quite a while now and I’ve been booked for both non-professional bartending work and low end liquor promos. Anybody who does it knows that event and promotional work is very sporadic and now that I’m ready to go to college, I’d like to find a steady liquor serving gig to put myself though school. So which pays better, professional bartending or doing high end liquor promotions? Also I’d really like to bartend at a casino. So which place averages more tips for bartenders between night clubs and casinos?

I am going to las Vegas on my 21st birthday with a bunch of friends and none of us have ever been and have no idea what to do. My birthday is not until April but I was wondering when I should order my plane ticket and when I should book my hotel. I found a package on Expedia for 2 plane tickets from Minneapolis and room at the Trump hotel for 3 night for $830. So it will only be $415 per person which sounded good to me but I’m not too sure. It does not have a casino but it seems crazy nice! Does anyone have any opinions about where I should stay? Also I was wondering what clubs I should go to and anything at all!!! Like I said none of us have a clue what to do!

Got a book about it and looked on websites wot to do there – Grand Canyon def, and Death Valley, But there are so many hotels and casinos to see while u’re there. Only being there for 5 days does anyone know places to go there that we really don’t want to miss? Know we want to go to Stratosphere, Venetian and the one beginning with b where the fountains are but wot other main hotels are there with good stuff to see in?

What to do in Vegas for a couple 24-28? Something fun, and different?

In order to recommend something that interests us, I’ll tell you a little about us, and what we’ve already booked. Money isn’t really an object. We want to have a good time.

We’re young 24 and 28. We will be checking out the casinos, but not super interested in that, not interested in the shows either. We want to do fun things that aren’t super typical.

I’ve already booked the following:

Sundance Helicopters – Helicopter flight over Hoover dam.
Sun Buggy Fun Rentals – Mini Baja race through the desert.

I’m probably going to book a spa treatment for my wife and I as well. Gotta get a good massage ya know.

Probably going to drive to ghost town Rhyolite for a photo op. Kinda boring but hey good pictures.

If I was going alone I’d check out the Bunny Ranch (LOL) but that’s out.

So as you can see we’re looking for the fun stuff, not the gambling, and shows.

Any good paintball joints? I also enjoy handguns and will be packing my guns, maybe an outdoor gun range?

Let me see what you got!

this was an idea i had back in school.yet we were not ready then too commit as an city of investors and peoples.yet tally up what winston cup track takes in soley with one race.and you will see what $ Tulsa nd oklahona state are missing out on.the indy style could drape around the kestone lake area=very attractive scenary and the lafotune 500 stock car track could be built just between Tulsa and O:K:C bagging multi bliiions in revenue each year.and the idy style track also duals as an high speed moter cycle track.which gives me qand others a local place too test new space aged high tech Tron type high speed bikes.all wheel drive exeeding 300 M:P:H motor cycles racing untoo Tulsa’s bank account pockett book and the other races also tally one wealthy popular city of industry.alive again and prosperity reigns supreme.i know i have the BurnetT italian sounding name.and someof these enjoy race car tracks.not too mention the local indian casino’s all make megga bucks during these events.so why not put it too blue print tulsa?is mt Question too you.and the other is ment only for yahoo &oohay.commers.
Tulsa international Speedway would be its Title within the worldwide ranking charts. and lafortune 500 stock car racing track would be just as famous as winston cup 500 is in today’s world news papers and cable broadcast stations.
