Question?
My husband and I are planning a trip to Bossier City, La – we have not been been there for over 5 yrs so I am sure things have changed. We will be there for a week around the first part of June during the weekdays which I found to be alot cheaper than weekends. The last time we were there we stayed at the Isle of Capri which has changed names to Diamond Jacks.
Does anyone recommend a Casino/Motel to stay at that is reasonable/clean? Any comments on Diamond Jacks Casino?
Has anyone ever booked a hotel through the site I have listed below – and if so, were you satisfied/dissatified? I myself have never booked anything on line but through the site listed below, but have found where I can get rooms at alot of places for 1/2 price.

im from shreveport/bossier and i know that Eldorado Resort Casino is a good one. they have a website… …
but there are alot of new and referbished casinos right now as they are updoing them for all the stars… also a good place to go it the boardwalk… the outside mall there is nice.. they built it about 4 years ago i think… any ??? you can email me… hope you have fun…

I am sorry living here in Aust. it is a little far to travel there for a holiday but I am sure it would have changed like most places in the last 5yrs and I am sure it will be for the better…

Most of the casinos are a bit cleaner than they use to be….at least in my opinion. Diamond jacks does appear to be alot cleaner than when it was Isle of Capri. The movie business has been booming the past 3 years in Shreveport so the casinos have had to clean up a bit to cater to the stars.

Luxury Suite with Jacuzzi Tub for the first week in June…that isn’t too bad…that site has reviews of the hotel…diamond jacks is pretty close to downtown shreveport, other casinos, since your last visit)…so if you want to stay at a casino..that might be your best bet….as far as price and quality, and location. Where ever you stay just try to avoid staying around the airport…some new hotels have poped up there but it isn’t a safe area…plus the drive to the city.
I have never used that site…I use and earn free hotel rooms.
