I am going to las Vegas on my 21st birthday with a bunch of friends and none of us have ever been and have no idea what to do. My birthday is not until April but I was wondering when I should order my plane ticket and when I should book my hotel. I found a package on Expedia for 2 plane tickets from Minneapolis and room at the Trump hotel for 3 night for $830. So it will only be $415 per person which sounded good to me but I’m not too sure. It does not have a casino but it seems crazy nice! Does anyone have any opinions about where I should stay? Also I was wondering what clubs I should go to and anything at all!!! Like I said none of us have a clue what to do!

Wot to do in Las Vegas?
Live in UK and hubby and I are going for 5 days at end of October. Got a book about it and looked on websites wot to do there – Grand Canyon def, and Death Valley, But there are so many hotels and casinos to see while u’re there. Only being there for 5 days does anyone know places to go there that we really don’t want to miss? Know we want to go to Stratosphere, Venetian and the one beginning with b where the fountains are but wot other main hotels are there with good stuff to see in?

What to do in Vegas for a couple 24-28? Something fun, and different?
In order to recommend something that interests us, I’ll tell you a little about us, and what we’ve already booked. Money isn’t really an object. We want to have a good time.
We’re young 24 and 28. We will be checking out the casinos, but not super interested in that, not interested in the shows either. We want to do fun things that aren’t super typical.
I’ve already booked the following:
Sundance Helicopters – Helicopter flight over Hoover dam.
Sun Buggy Fun Rentals – Mini Baja race through the desert.
I’m probably going to book a spa treatment for my wife and I as well. Gotta get a good massage ya know.
Probably going to drive to ghost town Rhyolite for a photo op. Kinda boring but hey good pictures.
If I was going alone I’d check out the Bunny Ranch (LOL) but that’s out.
So as you can see we’re looking for the fun stuff, not the gambling, and shows.
Any good paintball joints? I also enjoy handguns and will be packing my guns, maybe an outdoor gun range?
Let me see what you got!

What is the best sports book in Vegas(on or close to the Strip) for free drinks to moderate gamblers?
I am going to Vegas during UFC 100 in a couple of weeks. Some of my friends are going to the fights, the rest of us are going to watch the action at a sports book. We will be making modest bets on the fights and some horse racing, but most of our bets will be in the $5 – $20 range. I have read that if you want to get free drinks in some of the bigger casinos, they expect you to bet $50 a pop. What is the best place to go to stay within our limits, but still get a complementary cocktail once in a while?

Best sportsbook (atmosphere wise, not odds-wise) in Vegas?
My father and I plan to take in some horse races on the Sunday afternoon of our trip. Are there any sports book that are highly regarded based on their layout,/ambiance/”scenery”
I was guessing one of the newer casinos (Aria, Wynn, etc) might fit the bill but was hoping to get a more informed opinion. Thanks!

Tropicana Hotel Las Vegas?
Have you stayed here or gambled in their casino? I will be in Vegas for 2 days in June and we’re staying at the Tropicana. The main reasons I booked our room there is the low price and the pool area, which is what I’m most interested in. What’s the pool/jacuzzi area like? I will be spending most of the day at the pool with my 8 year old and I want to know if it’s as nice as the pictures make it look. How is the swim up Blackjack?
Are there lots of low limit ($5) tables in the casino? I know I can go to other casinos to gamble, but it’s nice to end the night in your own hotel so you can stagger up to your room easily at the end of the evening.
Thanks for your help!

Some friends and I are going to Vegas next month. I have a question about the sports books in the casinos?
If we bet on a game and sit in the book and watch it, do they still serve you free alcohol? I know the alcohol is free if you sit at a table or slot machine, but is it the same thing at the sports book?

Vegas goers.can you answer this question for me?
Which hotel is better Mandalay Bay resort and casino or THE hotel at Mandalay Bay? I am looking into booking a trip. Staying at Mandalay, just gotta figure out which one is more “worth it” or whatever. Also, what are the good clubs? My husband and I are Nebraskans so we don’t need the upscale waaay to expensive stuff to make us happy, but we want to have a good time and I am splurging, just not to where it makes me broke
