you have mystic not far from there…..great bed and breakfasts….what all are you looking for….just a place to stay?
or a nice get away? and where you from?
The casino has it’s own hotels,if you plan on gambling make sure you sign up for a “wampams card” when you get there an insert it in every machine you play,or use it at table games,an you earn comps to use toward rm.an food. You’ll have to show a credit card at checkin, the when you leave any comps u got comes off bill. The more u gamble the more comps.I’m going tues.If u call ask about 2 trees inn it’s not directly connected to the casino, they have shuttle an it’s cheaper.Good Luck!
All the hotel rooms at both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are booked?? That’s pretty surprising, of all the rooms both places have I’d of thought there’d be at least some vacancy at one of them.
What lots of RI, MA and CT residents do (along with some NYC and NY state residents) is they take a bus to the casinos. The buses run all over the states but finding a bus that’ll take you is rather hard to find, try the bus company’s websites and see if they have anything there.
Around the area there’s plenty of places to stay if taking a bus. Around the area of Uncasville there there’s Mystic, Groton, and other places. There’s also Hartford with plenty of hotels and an (inter)national airport depending on your travel needs. Other CT cities like Waterbury, New Haven and Bridgeport are all rather far from the area over in Eastern CT where the casinos are so I’d say they’re out of the question if you want to stay there all day. There’s also lots of hotels around exits 85-91 along I-95 there (right along the CT/RI border) that should have plenty of vacancy and they’re not far from the casinos, maybe a 45 minute bus ride at the most with traffic.

You can stay at the ABBEY’S LANTERN HILL INN, or the BRIGADOON, or the HILLTOP INN. does the 3 hotel at FOXWOODS are booked?
You should be able to find a place to stay no problem, I’ve been at FOXWOODS so many times….never had any trouble to find a place to stay.
take care, good luck
