Caleb asked:

which do u like more. reading the book? or watching the movie? i know their is allot of nerds out there in america today and most of u are gonna say “the movie” but still. tell why u like the one u do. for me, i think i’d rather read the book first THEN watch the movie. for a few reasons. if u watch the movie, u are using NO imagination as if u were reading the book, u get to know the character more in a book, u can read a book ANY WERE, books are cheaper, and because the book is the original story. there is barley EVER a movie that 100% follows the book. one that is the closest to being 100% is The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. it is very good at following the book. except for the “crossing the frozen river” scene. that wasn’t in the book. but it depends on what movie/book it is if i like the book or movie more. like for Eragon. the book is 100 times better than the movie. lord of the rings is equal. Narnia is movie. Bourne is movie, Bond is book(exept for casino Royale). but in the end i think i say Book

  2. I definitely enjoy reading the book better. It goes into much more detail and I like picturing how I think things will look in my mind.

  4. definetly the book you get to picture more things and it has a lot more details. In the book twilight it was so much better than the movie.

  5. I would rather read the book. I have watched a lot of movie that I have already read the book and the book was much better. I agree with you about reading the book first so you can use your imagination, that is my favorite part!

  6. Book. But I always get disappointed when it is revamped into a movie.

The only reason people are going to say movie is because..just like above ..”they **** to read” which is incredibly common among this generation unfortunately.

  7. the book because you can’t get quite understand the storyline sometimes in a movie and mostly the reasons you said, it really depends though. if you read the book and it was ten times better than the film then i guess the book, but if the film made more sense than the book, then the film. but with the twilight series, and we’ve only seen the first one, but i would say the book, because there were alot of the things the film missed which didnt give it more feeling =]

  8. Definitely reading the books. They go into a lot of detail and the movies change a lot of things to make it in the time limit, so they always take out a few of the good parts.

  9. book, DEFINITELY! when you read you become a part of what you’re reading you see stuff in you’re mind as you read details and descriptions… the reason I think most people **** to read is because you have to actually imagine to get into the storyline, whereas in a movie everything is presented to you and you have no need to distinguish things like what a witch’s flying monkey would look like, so it is just easier… but SO MUCH less enjoyable to me!
