im going to vegas as part of a trip to the west coast…i will be there for 5 days…i was looking for a book on gambling that includes most of the games…texas hold’em, craps, blackjack, roulette and slots…i was checking out “las vegas for dummies” or “gambling for dummies”….any suggestions?
Many books and websites claim to describe the best strategy for gambling games such as Blackjack, Roulette, Craps. A mathematical analysis of probabilities shows that the odds are always against the player. And common sense confirms this. The casino always has the odds on their side.
So wouldn’t the optimal strategy be to not play at all? You are sure to break even. No other strategy will achieve this.
Isn’t the best gambler the one who never gambles at all?
