I read a book years ago about a Canadian banker who had a gambling problem and to support his habit embezzled millions of dollars. He was wiring money from Canada to casinos in USA and they would send jets to fly him to the casinos. Anyone know the title of this book?
I live in Iowa now. I am a real big party girl and night owl. I’m also working on a book. I don’t need a lot of money, i figure i can get a job at a buffet at one of the casinos or something, then spend the rest of the time writing or partying. Does this sound like a good idea (do you live in Vegas?)
would like to save up to go somewhere far away.I would like some suggestions.I plan on saving up to take one trip by myself and then never again going anywhere far away.Because I don’t make that much money anyway and have other responsibilities.So Iam trying to think of a trip somewhere that would be something I would never forget.I have always loved to travel but have never had the opportunity to.

Ok so heres the problem, I am a 13 year old boy who really wants to go on this new york city trip meeting and he lives in Las Vegas, NV (nevada) the trip costs about $1500 and my teacher needs 100 dollars by the end of next week, The package includes, airfare, broadway show, lunch and dinner for 5days 2 nights, tour guide, and hotel. My dad says its a waste and he would by me an imac computer with some wireless printer and mouse and keyboard for about the same amount of money. He says if I can raise the money I can pay for my own trip, he also says that if he used his savings to pay for it then more than half would be gone from his account, my mom thinks about the same but she wont pay either. My dad was saying that maybe writing a letter to Adelson, who is the owner of the casinos of Ballagio, Ceasars Palace, and the Venitian, he was a very good enteprenuer in his time and now hes some old guy in a wheelchair who is filthy rich.
A few years ago I read a book & now I can’t remember the title OR author & I want to find that book. The basic story line was: a discovered a shallow rock out in the ocean & decided to create his own island. He contracted with some garbage barges to have them dump their barges on top of this rock & eventually he created an island. Then he somehow got the United Nations to recognize his island as a new nation, etc. He developed the island, built hotels & casinos, formed an Army & Navy, Even had a few battles.
From the early days of gambling in England 1963, working for the Mob through sixteen countries from Amsterdam to Moscow and beyond to 2007. The interesting situations I have encountered and the people, and characters, I have met on my very extensive travels.
I want to write my experiences down and publish a book but need the help of a ghost writer who is willing to share in future royalties.
