actually im beginner of poker. when i read million dollar hold’em limit cash games by johnny chan, he said that if i want to play very low limit, i am supposed to read play poker like johnny chan : book one-getting started. but when I found that book, it was play poker like johnny chan : one casino poker. are those same book?
if different, where can i get play poker like johnny chan : book one getting started? please tell me

Would you rather spend $30 on a good poker book or play in a hold-em tournament?

There are a ton of books on playing tournament poker. Today I was in a casino and they had a $30 buy in. There were only nine players first and second place payed. $182 for first and $150 for second.

It was between me and somebody else. On the flop I had two small pairs with an ace showing. I bet $3,000 and he called. Then another card was rolled. I thought I should go all in before he got something with his aces. So I did and won.

Questions:

Only two places paid, he did not tip the dealer, I did about$25.00 and they thanked me. Was he supposed to tip too?

Would I be better off buying a poker book, and if so…which one?

Was I lucky or what???

Track my poker winnings “poker ledger book?”?
