JACKnine asked:

I am looking for a good way to track my poker winnings when i am at the casino. I have recently heard of “poker ledger book” as it is a poker ledger designed in book format. I want to know what people think of this book before i buy it. Is this the only ledger of its kind available and is it a good poker ledger?

  2. Hey bro. I myself just buy regular notebooks and draw grids on them to keep track of what I’m doing. I have two books i keep. The first one is my win and lose book, and the other one i have is my players book. The first one i mark down what game i play in, how much i bought in for, the amount of time i spent at the table, how much did i win or lose, how much did i win or lose per hour, and the average size of each pot, as well as how many hands i played vs how many hands did the table play. Now my other book i keep track of people i play with all the time, and what hands they have shown down to me, from what position and how did they play the hand. I color code each player i see, green for tight, red for very aggressive. I also try and add a few people at my table who give me trouble, so if i ever see them again i can just go to my little book and see what i can expect from them. But i just write down what i think is important, so in the end it is what ever works for you. good luck.

  3. I use the cardplayer.com pokeranalyst tool. If you register with the website, you’ll find it in the top left hand corner. You enter in your results (cash games or tournaments) and it gives you lots of detailed information including graphs and hourly profit rates etc. Would definitley recommend it.
