My fiance and I want to go somewhere in the summer. We have already been to Mackinac and went to the Casino’s in Traverse City, went to the UP to Sault St. Marie and more casinos. I guess were looking for something else to do here in Michigan.
We would like to go to a really nice beach but be able to Casinos and Winery to do Wine tasting or even go shopping in a downtown area. Something fun for a weekend trip to get away. Let me know of any ideas even if there not what I had suggested. I did go to the pure Michigan website for ideas but I didn’t really like it and didn’t help. I did however order a travel guide so maybe that would help.

You could visit tripadvisor.com a free site with reviews, recommendations and links to hotels, attractions and restaurants in the area you are interested in.
Downtown Detroit is very interesting, Greektown, GM’s headquarters the Ren Center, the pizza place downtown.
