everywhere i go there is somebody that knows how to play spades. online games have it as the 2nd most popular card game behind poker and just above blackjack…(which is weird). so whats its gonna take to put some money on the table for some for some “books” or “bids”?

It’s unlikely because when playing it in person, some of the game is based on trust. (This is the part where you play a can play a spade if you don’t have a card of the suit that has been played.) Dishonest people could take advantage of this so it probably wouldn’t be very popular. Casino’s could employ some kind of surveillance, but it probably wouldn’t be in their interests just for 1 extra game.
Sometimes I wish it was though.
Doubt it- the best spades players are in prison!
