The fountain one is the Belaggio. Very good shows, every 15mins, I think.

Go on a few rides there. (New York New York Rollercoaster, Daytona (I think) rollercoaster, and the Stratosphere rides. (The Big shot was ace!!!)

Go to the top of the Eiffel tower there, and try to go into all of the big casino's, but especially visit the MGM grand (real lions in there) and Mandalay Bay for the Aquatic life

The Pirate show at treasure Island is a must-see!

If you get a spare 10 mins, go on the magic carpet ride at the Luxor. You get a dvd of that.

If your hubby's into guns he can fire any gun type at a weapons store, even Automatic weapons in some places.

Bars (If you like the nightlife): You've got to visit the Piano Bar (NY NY) and The Centrifuge (MGM Grand) if clubs are more your thing, my mates would reccomend Studio 54 and the Burlesque lounge (MGM Grand and Treasure Island Respectively)

You definitely won't get bored! I was there on a working trip (RAF Detatchment) for a month and didn't do everything! You don't need to gamble to enjoy yourself. I only gambled $15 in the entire month (lost it all though!).

Hoover dam is great, and try to stop at Oatman Az. about 80 miles south of LV. its a old mining town where the wild donkeys roam the streets, take carrots with you to feed them (free). all the other good spots have been mentioned. you will see the Bellagio ( the fountain hotel) on the strip for sure, and Treasure Island pirate show at 5:30 pm (free).
The most lasting memories you will treasure is if you do some of the free shows that most of the hotels do in their lounges while you gamble the nights away - I've seen some of the biggest acts and spectaculars in the lounge shows you'd find anywhere.

Be prepared to gamble (and lose). Roulette is my favourite and I used to win (and lose) regularly but that's what everyone goes to Las Vegas for.

I wish I was coming with you - Good Luck

The Treasure Island or MGM Mirage Las Vegas are very nice. Goto their websites and see what they offer and what shows you can see when you visit.

You will have a ball, just walk in and out of the hotels along the strip, the others on here have listed the names, but its worth seeing as many as you can, book for a different show every night and certainly a few day trips,I did the flight over the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam and it was excellent although a bit bumpy if you are not a good flyer.
The whole place is alive and vibrant 24 hours a day,if I was going back I would be on the net and try to pre-book as many shows and trips as I could, whenever we went, some of our group had wanted to see Celine Dion and discovered they needed to have pre-booked,so they were very disappointed .
When you go to the casino set yourself a limit and don't go over it,that's the best way to enjoy it.
Have fun !

you could stand outside a wedding chapel, and as the happy couple come out you could whisper in their ears "it'll never last you know". or go to the casino and tell the punters on the slots "no hit that one, no that one not that, ya see what you could have won if you listened to me"

Drive along the coastal Highway to L.A. and Back. Don't gamble or if you're like me expect to lose 100 dollars and just see how long it lasts. Eat from the buffet at Ceasars Palace, it's obscene the ammounts of food you can have for a few dollars.

If you're a Star Trek geek, the Las Vegas Hilton has several Star Trek Experience adventures, including the Borg Encounter and a rescue mission involving rogue Klingons. They also have a decent theme restaurant and lots of Star Trek gifts & stuff. I liked it a lot, and it wasn't any less chintzy than most Las Vegas souvies.

There's also Ra Sushi down the strip, which makes great sushi at the counter, and shows old Godzilla movies on Tuesday nights. :)

Vegas is designed so you do not have to think too much to have a really good time.
Go to some shows that you might think you would enjoy. Takd the Grand canyon trip. Maybe a flight over the canyon. Death valley is not as close as you might want it to be.
Hope you have a good time. I always do and I end up gambling much less than I thought I would just because ther is sooooo much to do.
