Blank asked:

ok so i don’t wanna write a book so i’m gonna try to make it short. we’ve known each other about 3 weeks, maybe a little longer. the first time we hung out, we stayed up til like 3 in the morning talking. we had a connection going, but like he said i was fighting it and maybe he was too. well anyways, i let him sleep in my room, on my bed cause he’s in a bad situation and i don’t see the big deal so long as he respected me and my space. so anyways the next day same thing happened, except we went to bed earier, thank god! lol. then, the day after that was thursday and he asked me on a double date with a friend of his i already knew (we all know everyone in our social circle cause its..the military). anyways, after a little prodding by his part, i accepted. somehow, naturally we held hands. I guess i’m really drawn and attracted to this guy, cause i found myself fighting it less and less. when we got back to my room, he asked me why i had held his hand the whole time and i said cause i felt like it. lol. then he kissed me and i couldn’t resist. so i just let it happen. then we went to sleep and he held me. it was sweet. friday was the start of the 4 day weekend, so he went away to see his family and what not. the whole time he stayed in touch through text.called me baby, asked for pics, sent me pics, kept tellin me he missed me and all that. i missed him too…weird. anyways, when he came back on monday night, we “made love”. weird? idk. and then he kept stayin with me every night and textin me through the day while we were at work. one of those nights, he told me he’s fallin for me. thing is i’m so scared cause he supposedly just got divorced like a few days before we met, if it’s even true. idk if i can believe that cause at times it seemed like he was hiding something. like everytime his ex called (they have a baby together). but friday before we went on leave we went to a casino with another female in our unit, she was our ride since neither of us have a car at the moment. anyways, he was actin like there was nothin between us at all. i mean she was even kind of flirting with him and I felt like the third wheel! it was upsetting. then they were makin plans to go hang with someone else and she wanted to get drunk and stuff and i had to leave for the airport at midnight cause it was my only ride (the airport is like an hr away). but she offered me a ride in the morning so i could chill with them but i felt uncomfortable cause that’s not my idea of fun so i said no i would just wait for my ride. so he was driving cause she had already been drinking. well he didn’t even get out of the car to say good bye or nothin. idk i mean i know we don’t want people in our unit to know about us cause it could end up in trouble, but still i didn’t know what to think of that. now we’re both on leave and he hasn’t contacted me at all. i even texted him once and he didn’t answer. what should I do in this situation? i mean obviously i want him, but is that smart in this case?
ok well thank you nick j. i think you and ttpw had the best most mature helpful answers. it makes a lot of sense to me from both ur perspectives. a few more details: the *** happened more than once, i helped him a lot financially and i don’t expect payback unless is able and won’t take no for an answer. however, i did not do this with the intention of buying his affection or anything like that. i would do this, and have done this for anyone who i feel deserves it. and to make it clear, everyone doesn’t know we had ***. only his friend we went on the double date with does, and only a select few people who we are both friends with know that theres something going on between us. anyhow, thanks for your insight. I really appreciate it

Zigzager 2 asked:

My dream started out as this cartoon with an old man and his middle aged wife and after awhile the wife did something totally normal and the old man freaked out and killed her with a knife and right after the murder, the cartoon turned real and we were in this huge casino hotel thing which was really nice and fancy. anyway the cartoon couple had a son named Cameron who was about my age with blonde hair and blue eyes and he needed me to help him find his mother before the old man killed her for real and i told him I’d help but then he disappeared. his parents were in room 1575 or something and none of the elevators i went into had that button on it but i eventually found the right one but then this little boy said “hey nigger, hurry it up!” and i said what’s your problem and i turned around and i saw a kkk sign and we were in a town on the coast. the elevator turned into this HUGE room and then we all started talking about black people! then i went to the ground floor because cameron heard that his mom was at a spa but she wasn’t. that was when the water we were near started to flood the hotel and everyone was trying to get out but we still couldn’t find his mom. so we went to some gift shop where we found his parents except this time his mom was in a wheelchair and his dad said something about “fell down the stairs” and smiled evily. she had evidently lost her memory because she had no idea who we were. then cameron got mad and rode his bike out of the hotel and into the forest and i followed in a golf cart. but when we got into the forest, cameron completely disappeared and all i saw were these kids from my real life neighborhood and i had to break their crayons to find out where cameron went. i did this and the second i was done, i found cameron but then the entire world was ripped away like someone tearing a page out of a book and the next second i saw the hotel being destroyed by the water like the titanic and it was horrible! then there was blackness and i was standing on a beach with my cousins and they started talking about pancakes T_T

Tony Soprano asked:

Ok So I’m gonna turn 21 and I tried asking questions about hotels before this but it didn’t help me narrow my choices

I’m gonna go to Vegas for 3 days in december and I didn’t know what to do there

Basically I wana gabmble a little bit and relax a lot

So I didn’t know where to book my hotel? center strip? north? south? should I hit up all the major casinos? and if so what are the best casinos on the strip?

From what I Gather its MGM, Mirage, Bellagio? but there could be more

I guess I also don’t wana pay for taxi anywhere so is center strip the best location for me?

And if so what’s the best hotel center strip?

I looked at mandalay bay but it was south strip even though it was really nice

and who has the best rooms/casinos/food I’m probably looking at a room with a jacuzzi or something

Harry Bennett asked:

I used to have a fantastic social life until when I graduated and moved to a town where I had no friends or family to take a job.
I never thought it would be hard getting out and about having fun times. I always had a social life and when you have friends or in a relationship your options and endless for things to do.

But after 3 years I really have a very poor social life. I have friends at work and every so often we have a work’s night out which I go on, sometimes I go to the casino and play golf with a couple of friends at work, but they are all married and have family and have their own lifes and are not looking to socialise. I sometimes go visit my old friends, but they are now in relationships and happen less and less.

So my evenings when I get home are by myself, don’t get me wrong I am not unhappy, I like to relax and chill out and cook nice food and have a glass of wine, watch some tv, go on the computer, read a book, etc. Weekends I usually am by myself as well. I do go out shopping and walks and play golf by myself, but usually I am at home by myself.

I don’t think people unless they are single and don’t have people to do things with have any idea how hard it is to have good times and get out and about. If you have people to do stuff with its so easy.

People will say do some volunteer work, but when you work all week that is does not look a fun idea. People say go to bars, yeah that is great sat in the corner of a pub like a lemon by yourself. People say go for a walk, yes that is something you can do but its not a massive amount of fun by yourself. People say go to the cinema, but have you been to the cinema by yourself? Its not good. People say join a club, but how many people in their late 20s and 30s are in clubs? No one!
People say go to a cafe or restaurant by yourself, have you tried that, its not good and you don’t meet friendships sat in cafe by yourself.
It is really difficult to get out having fun times when you are by yourself. Yet there seems to be a perception of people who live by themselves and have no social life that they must be boring, a bit odd, that they need to get a life.

What do people think? Anyone who is single and no social life, can you relate to this, and to those who have a social life do you think people who have no social life must be boring and need to get a life?
